Scope:
Welding of pipeline system, diameters in range from ½ ” to 24″ in the field.
Achieved challenges:
- Supply of equipment: MILLER PIPEWORX 400, dual feeder (RMD) with drive rolls, and consumables for torches, solid and tubular wires for MIG welding.
- Training of welding technical personnel for the execution of the Project.
Summary:
With the use of the Miller PipeWorx 400, dual feeder with drive rolls all spools and RMD technology, pipes, spools and connections were manufactured inside the company facilities on time, with a minimum welding rejection margin that helped to increase the quality of the job. There was a significant reduction in the number of hours worked by the assigned technical welding staff, as well as a production cost reduction effect associated to the project.
