Scope:

Installation, leveling and alignment of equipment and auxiliaries, installation of structure and electrical connections, conditioning of the area for 24-hour work, tubing and compressed air connections, design and manufacture of a water bed.

Achieved challenges:

  • Identification of the welding process: Use of efficient advanced technology, cost and effectiveness in the application. Structural, operational and maintenance design in the workshop area of the company.
  • Supply of equipment: ProArc Master 35, Hypertherm HPR400XD, ArcGlide Hypertherm, auxiliary equipment and accessories.
  • Training of the technical welding team for the performance of the project

Summary:

We offered advice to reinforce the maintenance and repair processes within Rimes Electro Mecanica, C.A., Venezuela with the use and application of metal cutting with the highest level of technology and precision. Training was carried out for the use of this system compound by a ProArc Master 35, Hypertherm HPR400XD, and Hypertherm ArcGlide torch height control equipment. Best practices were provided for the configuration and use of the plasma and oxyfuel torches to ensure maximum efficiency, pressure and speed, Hi/Low preheating, and automatic ignition to handle the process at 100% duty cycle. The challenges were achieved under the recommendations given, increasing the productivity index, as well as high-precision cutting jobs. Delivery time of orders and man-hour effort of the assigned technical staff were also reduced. Costs of production associated to the tasks were also reduced, and goals of training in the use of equipment of high technology were accomplished.
